If you’ve ever started a routine full of motivation only to fall off a few weeks later, you’re not alone.
Maybe you’ve repeated this cycle so many times that now you feel hesitant to set any new goals for 2026. Not because you don’t care, but because you’re scared of failing yourself again. You may carry a subtle apology in your spine, the one that whispers, “I never get to win.” So what is the point of trying if you always end up here?
The point is this:
You get to, if you let yourself afford failure. Failure is the cost of letting yourself dream.
This is one of the most common conversations I’ve had with clients over nearly a decade of doing this work. And my answer is always the same. You don’t have to set new goals. Not for the new year. Not ever.
But you’re allowed to dream, even if nothing changes.
You’re allowed to imagine, even if you don’t know the how.
