Before we get into this soul-nourishing affirmation, I want to let you know that the recording of the first week of the Posture Reset Series is now live on YouTube!
If you weren’t able to join live, now is your chance to experience the teachings and exercises designed to unlock your posture. Also, don’t forget to sign up for the third session on Wednesday, focusing on pelvis stability and hip mobility.
During the live session, attendees chose the number that best described their posture.
Back in December, I was talking to my business coach and friend, Ariana Fotinakis, about my vision for 2025.
She asked me, “What’s coming up for you?”
And without thinking , without planning my words, I answered:
“Child-like awe.”
After that call, almost without realizing it, I kept finding myself whispering, in the back of my throat:
May I be childish enough to believe in miracles again.
And later that evolved to
May I be childish enough to believe in miracles again. Clear my vision so I may recognize them.

Soon after that conversation, January brought significant changes on the corporate side of my work. I’ve been called to rethink how I approach my work and to ask myself whether I want to continue investing my energy and resources into fitting into a corporate construct, or if I am ready to let my creativity lead me down a different path.
And as a business owner, this in-between can feel nerve-wracking. The lack of stability can feel uncomfortable.
But this simple affirmation became my anchor, keeping me connected to my vision even when it hasn’t yet materialized… even when I don’t know the how, even when confusion creeps in.
Now that I look back on the past six months, I can see how this affirmation has supported me in two profound ways:
1) My I amness is enough
In the past, during transitions in my business, I became rigid, stressed, and tight. I believed I had to be perfect to show up that I needed to feel great, have all the answers, and be fully “on” in order to serve.
This affirmation gave my nervous system something soft to lean into and became the constant reminder that:
I get to show up exactly as I am, and that my I amness is enough.
I don’t need to fight through tiredness, sadness, heartbreak, or anything else to prove my worth. I don’t have to earn my place by overriding my humanity.
In this surrender, I notice more magic unfolding. These two songs capture exactly how this season feels to me:
✨✨✨✨✨✨
In a world that conditions us to be logical, let’s be childish enough to believe in miracles again.
In a world that praises being calculated and having a strategy for everything, let’s move with the divine’s plan and trust that it’s the greatest strategy ever created.
In a world that focuses too much on the “how,” let’s dare to let our God-given vision lead the way.
In a world that trained our nervous systems to look for competition and to feel alone, let’s remember how deeply connected we already are to everything and to everyone.
In a world that tells us we need to be perfect to be worthy of showing up, let’s trust that we can show up exactly as we are.
✨✨✨✨✨✨
2) My God is gentle
As someone who spent most of her life identifying as an atheist and carrying the wounds of harmful religious ideologies (in my case, Islam), returning to God has been a tender and delicate process.
The more I practice moving with childlike curiosity and find miracles, the more I am asked to trust the divine plan. In doing so, I have had to face parts of myself that still fear a “punishing God,” believing that if I fully soften, something terrible will happen.
Sitting with those parts of myself led me to a gentler God, who invites me to show up just as I am and reminds me that love still shines beautifully through the broken places.
PS. Seeking Wisdom by Julia Cameron came to my life right on time and became a beautiful anchor on deepening this connection through prayer, highly recommend it if you are exploring your faith too.

👁️ What your body has been trying to tell you?
If you want to go deeper and explore your body’s story, take this quiz to see what patterns show up for you!
The way we hold ourselves matters. Not just because of how it looks. But because it shapes how we live, how we relate, and what we’re capable of imagining. Let your body speak. Let it interrupt the collective war and offer you a new way of being entirely.
