Your Body’s Clues to Negative Self-Talk
Negative self-talk isn’t just in your thoughts—it manifests in your posture, your breath, and your muscle tension. Notice:
Shoulders caving in → Are you shrinking yourself?
Clenched jaw → Are you suppressing something?
Shallow breath → Are you bracing for impact?
Try This Right Now
Pause for a moment. Close your eyes and scan your body. Where are you holding tension? What is the sensation of the tension feel like in your body? What is your posture saying? Take a deep breath and let your body speak.
